On Monday, former Secretary of State and First Lady Hillary Clinton made her debut on Bluesky, quickly gaining an impressive 120,745 subscribers within just six hours.
While this follower count is remarkable for such a short period, the 2016 Democratic presidential candidate still has a journey ahead to join the ranks of established Bluesky power users.
As of now, Clinton’s follower count places her just shy of author Sarah Kendzior, who holds 120,905 followers and occupies the last spot among the top 500 Bluesky users, as reported by the Bluesky statistics-measuring app VQV.
To challenge the current top user, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who boasts a staggering 2,076,431 followers, Clinton has quite the uphill battle.
Clinton’s motivation for joining Bluesky is to engage with the community regarding the crucial Wisconsin Supreme Court election scheduled for Tuesday.
Stay tuned for more updates on Hillary Clinton’s engagement on Bluesky and her efforts to influence the upcoming election.
