A Kentucky daycare worker, Kesha Cochran, has been arrested following a shocking incident captured on surveillance video, which shows her yanking a handful of hair out of a toddler’s head. This alarming event took place at a Leitchfield daycare, where Cochran, 24, was responsible for monitoring a room full of small children.

According to reports from WBKO, the footage reveals that Cochran approached a one-year-old child and forcefully pulled the toddler’s hair. As the child began to scream in distress, Cochran was seen walking over to a trash can and discarding what investigators believe to be the child’s hair.

The aftermath of this incident left the toddler with a nearly 2 1/2 inch bald spot. Following the incident, Cochran admitted to intentionally pulling the child’s hair and removing a significant amount of it.

On Wednesday, Cochran was taken into custody and charged with criminal abuse. This disturbing case highlights the serious issue of child abuse within daycare facilities.
