In a serious incident south of Sydney, six individuals have sustained injuries, including a driver who is currently fighting for his life, following a collision between a truck and a ute.
A significant portion of Appin Road, extending 20 kilometers just outside Appin, has been closed since 4 PM.
The 30-year-old driver of the ute has been transported to Liverpool Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Four additional passengers in the ute, which included a woman in her 30s and three children, have been taken to Campbelltown Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the truck was briefly trapped in his vehicle before being rescued and is now being airlifted to Westmead Hospital in serious condition.
Authorities are currently investigating the crash, with several ambulances and firetrucks present at the scene.
