The 2025 NFL Playoffs are advancing through the Wild Card Round during the first weekend. Here’s a detailed update on the playoff bracket as we prepare for the Divisional Round.
The 2025 NFL Playoffs commenced on Saturday with the first of six games during Wild Card weekend. Twelve teams are in the hunt to secure a spot among the six teams that will join the two No. 1 seeds in the Divisional Round.
The Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions earned a bye during the first weekend of playoffs. They will be back in action during the Divisional Round, facing the lowest remaining seed after the conclusion of the Wild Card Round on Monday night. The Chiefs will learn their opponent by Sunday afternoon, while the Lions will have clarity by the end of Monday night.
We will continue to update this playoff bracket until the field of eight is finalized. The Divisional Round games are scheduled for next Saturday and Sunday, featuring one game from each conference on each day. It’s anticipated that the winner of the Vikings-Rams game on Monday will be the NFC game on Sunday.
AFC Playoff Bracket
The Chiefs secured the No. 1 seed for the second time in three seasons, clinching it on Christmas night and resting players since Week 18. They won’t know their Divisional Round opponent until the conclusion of Sunday’s Broncos-Bills game. Should the Bills defeat the Broncos, the Chiefs will face the Texans. Conversely, if the Broncos win, Kansas City will meet Denver next weekend.
The Texans kicked off the Wild Card Round with a decisive 32-12 victory over the Chargers. Following that, the Ravens triumphed over the Steelers with a score of 28-14. Since the final matchups will be determined on Sunday, the bracket remains mostly undetermined.
