Aiper has introduced the innovative IrriSense Smart Irrigation Sprinkler at CES 2025, designed for effortless setup akin to traditional lawn sprinklers. This smart watering solution eliminates the need for buried pipes, functioning as a complete device without extra hardware for faucet installation. Its precise watering method minimizes overspray, effectively reducing water consumption.
Set to launch in May 2025 at a price of $399, the IrriSense Smart Irrigation Sprinkler comes with a 33-foot waterproof power cord that requires an outlet. Users will need to supply a standard garden hose long enough to connect to a faucet. According to Aiper, the installation process takes around 15 minutes, securing the IrriSense sprinkler with four ground stakes that can be easily removed for lawn maintenance.

This smart sprinkler boasts a spray range of up to 39 feet, covering areas as large as 4,300 square feet while oscillating efficiently. Users can customize the spray pattern using the Aiper mobile app, which allows for creating a detailed map by pinpointing specific locations in the yard. This feature not only conserves water but also helps keep designated areas, like sidewalks, dry.
The IrriSense sprinkler’s watering schedule can be managed through the app, which also incorporates weather data to enhance conservation efforts and prevent overwatering. The device includes a built-in moisture sensor and can be paired with additional soil sensors to monitor hydration levels. If recent rainfall sufficiently hydrates the lawn, the system will skip scheduled watering.
For broader coverage, users can install multiple IrriSense sprinklers, which can also be programmed to dispense liquid fertilizers or pesticides, making it a versatile solution for modern lawn care.
