Arsenal FC is among the clubs showing interest in a potential transfer for Wolverhampton Wanderers left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri, but they will face stiff competition from AC Milan.

According to sources familiar with the situation, CaughtOffside reports that the Gunners have a long-standing interest in Ait-Nouri, who is expected to be available for around €60 million this summer.

Wolves have experienced a challenging season, and there is acknowledgment that key players may depart, with Matheus Cunha also being a player of interest for Arsenal.

“It’s MY fault Salah and De Bruyne left Chelsea…” – which Blues legend made this HUGE admission?

AC Milan is also intensifying its pursuit of Ait-Nouri, especially amid uncertainties surrounding Theo Hernandez, who has just over a year left on his contract at the San Siro.

CaughtOffside understands that Hernandez is a concrete target for Real Madrid, and Milan is expected to turn to Ait-Nouri as a potential replacement.

Will Rayan Ait-Nouri Move Abroad or Remain in the Premier League?

It remains uncertain where Ait-Nouri will ultimately play, as Milan’s interest is robust, but questions linger about whether they can meet the Algeria international’s asking price.

Premier League clubs typically have more financial resources, which might lead to Ait-Nouri joining Arsenal, despite them having less immediate need for the 23-year-old.

Meanwhile, Gunners youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly has had an impressive season, and Riccardo Calafiori also appears to be a strong option at left-back. Others, such as Jakub Kiwior and Takehiro Tomiyasu, can also fill that role.

However, with Oleksandr Zinchenko and Kieran Tierney likely to leave this summer, there may be an opportunity for another signing in that position.

Wolves would likely prefer to sell Ait-Nouri abroad, giving AC Milan a potential advantage in the race for his signature.

CaughtOffside also understands that Liverpool and Manchester United have shown long-standing interest in Ait-Nouri, although the latter recently secured Patrick Dorgu as a left-back.

Liverpool is reportedly considering other options, including Milos Kerkez and Lewis Hall.
