Authorities in Oregon announced on Tuesday that a body has been recovered during the ongoing search for 2-year-old Dane Paulsen, who has been missing since earlier this month.
According to KATU, a diver located the body in the Siletz River. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office confirmed on March 4 that they were actively searching for Dane Paulsen, who disappeared on March 1.

The Lincoln County police, as reported by KOIN, confirmed that Paulsen’s body was found approximately three miles from his home. A medical examiner is set to determine the cause of death.
Volunteer diver Juan Heredia from Angels Recovery Dive Team was instrumental in locating Paulsen’s body, responding to the family’s request to assist in the search.
Officials have previously indicated that foul play is not suspected in the disappearance of Dane Paulsen.
