Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson faced an unexpected challenge during a family visit to a Texas safari park, according to reports.
While Johnson is accustomed to verbal attacks from journalists and political opponents, this time he was confronted by a surprising adversary: a seven-foot-tall ostrich with four-inch claws.
His wife, Carrie Johnson, shared a video of the incident on Instagram, which captured the former leader in a vehicle with his family.
The footage reveals Johnson extending his hand out of the car, seemingly trying to coax the ostrich closer as one of his three children leans toward the window. The ostrich is seen leaning into the vehicle before it bites Johnson, potentially on the hand.
“Christ!” exclaimed the former Tory leader, reacting to the unexpected nip. “Oh, f****** hell!”
