Collin Morikawa delivered another impressive performance on Saturday, clinching the 54-hole lead at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Here are the final round tee times.
Morikawa showcased his exceptional iron play, firing a 5-under 67, highlighted by six birdies and a lone bogey on the par-3 14th. He stands atop the leaderboard with a total of 10-under par through 54 holes.
Starting the day three shots behind 36-hole leader Shane Lowry, Morikawa capitalized on Lowry’s struggles at Bay Hill. The Irishman, who was 8-under at the midway point, faltered with two bogeys on his first two holes. Although he managed to recover with birdies on the 6th and 7th holes, two double bogeys on the 11th and 13th holes, where he found the water, pushed him further down the leaderboard. Lowry ended the day with a 4-over 76, now sitting six shots behind Morikawa heading into the final round.
Wyndham Clark, Lowry’s playing partner, also faced difficulties, signing for a 76. He bogeyed his first two holes and failed to regain the momentum that had put him in the lead after Thursday’s first round.
However, Russell Henley is just one stroke behind Morikawa. Henley made an impressive move up the leaderboard with four consecutive birdies from holes 10 to 13. Canadian Corey Conners is also in contention, sitting at 8-under after a solid 3-under 69 on Saturday.
