In a shocking incident covered on Crime Stories with Nancy Grace, OnlyFans model and Instagram influencer Courtney Clenney called 911, reporting her boyfriend had been stabbed and was bleeding profusely.
Clenney was later arrested for his murder, claiming she feared for her life from Christian Obumseli and threw a knife at him in self-defense. The knife tragically lodged in his chest, resulting in his death.
An attorney for Clenney argued that the 25-year-old was a victim of physical, emotional, and mental abuse at the hands of Obumseli and acted in self-defense. The couple had been dating for approximately two years and had been living in the same apartment building for several months.
Police had reportedly responded to multiple calls from the apartment, and staff noted numerous domestic incidents, even attempting to evict the couple due to the ongoing issues.
Friends of the couple expressed disbelief that Obumseli could have been violent toward Clenney, stating they had witnessed Clenney hitting Obumseli but had never seen him hit her.
In a recent courtroom development, Clenney’s defense team introduced a video featuring an expert throwing knives at a pig carcass. The defense argued that the pig’s skin and tissue mimic human tissue, supporting their claim that Obumseli’s death occurred as Clenney described.
