Former Premier League striker Darren Bent believes Paul Pogba would be an excellent addition to Arsenal.
Pogba has the potential to return to the Premier League as a free agent, and Bent suggests he could significantly contribute to Arsenal’s quest for their first title since 2004.

Arsenal has yet to make any signings in this transfer window, leading fans to worry about losing another chance at the title.
Since November, when his contract with Juventus ended, Pogba has been without a club.
The 31-year-old has been training in Miami to prepare for his return to football and is aiming to secure a new club this month.
His four-year doping ban was reduced to 18 months on appeal, allowing him to return to the pitch in March.
The free agent has attracted interest from numerous clubs globally, including those in the Premier League, Ligue 1, MLS, and the Saudi Pro League.
Pogba hinted at a potential third stint with Manchester United, but talkSPORT understands that the club is not considering re-signing him.
“Would I take him at Arsenal on a three-month loan? Absolutely!” said Darren Bent. “Given the injuries we’ve had and the need for squad rotation, he could be beneficial.”
“With Champions League football and the league push, there are many games ahead. He may not play many minutes, but having him around could be valuable to see where he stands.”
“I’m not committing long-term, no way, but short-term, I’d give that a try.”
Arsenal’s primary issue this season is their struggle with clinical finishing, indicating they need a striker or a prolific winger to address this dilemma.

His previous tenure in England is often debated as an underachievement.
While it seems unlikely that Mikel Arteta would approve of signing Pogba, considering the manager’s preference for players under thirty, he has made exceptions before, such as with Jorginho, who joined on deadline day from Chelsea in 2023 at 31.
This indicates that Arteta may not be completely opposed to the idea of signing Pogba; however, the risk remains due to Pogba’s lack of match fitness after not playing since September 2023.
Moreover, Martin Zubimendi, a midfielder from Real Sociedad, is reportedly set to join Arsenal in the summer after advanced negotiations.
This potential pre-agreed deal could eliminate Pogba’s chances of returning to the Premier League.
