Keith Siegel, an American-Israeli, is scheduled for release on Saturday as part of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas. He is the first American citizen taken hostage on October 7, 2023, to be freed by the terrorist organization amidst this ceasefire.

Siegel and his wife, Aviva, were captured during the brutal surprise attacks by Hamas on October 7, 2023. In November 2023, Aviva was released from Hamas captivity as a result of an earlier ceasefire and hostage negotiation during the ongoing conflict.
