A memorial honoring fallen police officers has been vandalized in a shocking act of defacement in Sydney.
At approximately 3:15 AM on Saturday, vandals inflicted what police have termed “significant” damage to the NSW Police Wall of Remembrance located in the Domain.
This wall serves as a tribute to the officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

The words “evil” and “dogs” were inscribed on the monument, showcasing the senselessness of this act.
Police conducting their duties on Australia Day discovered the damage around noon yesterday, prompting an immediate investigation.
Repair efforts are currently underway.
Premier Chris Minns condemned the act as “disgusting” behavior by the vandals.

“To deface a memorial that honors police officers who have served the state and those who have lost their lives while on duty is the lowest of the low,” he stated.
Police Minister Yasmin Catley assured the public that investigators would leave “no stone unturned” in their pursuit of the responsible individuals.
