A man has been charged with murder following an alleged fatal stabbing in country Victoria yesterday, a significant incident that has drawn attention to crime rates in the area.
Police allege that a man was stabbed during an altercation between two individuals at a residence on Heywood Crescent in Seymour, located approximately 110km north of Melbourne, just before 3am.
Paramedics attempted to save the 28-year-old victim in the driveway, but unfortunately, he could not be revived.

A 41-year-old man has since been charged with one count of murder and is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.
According to friends, the deceased man was a “gentle soul,” an avid painter, and a lover of animals, highlighting the tragic nature of this crime.
