Authorities are actively searching for two men, Codye Thomson (29) and Kaine Thomson-Gleeson (32), who are wanted for the alleged murder of Queensland woman Chloe Jade Mason. Recent reports suggest they may be camping in the bush of New South Wales, according to police statements.
The tragic incident occurred just after midnight on December 22, 2024, on Railway Parade in Caboolture, where the suspects allegedly assaulted and fatally shot the 23-year-old Mason.
Following the release of images of the suspects last week, investigators believe the duo traveled to northern NSW in a white Holden Commodore.

Investigators urge anyone in the area who may have seen the suspects or their vehicle, with Queensland registration 953 HO4, to come forward. “These men have traveled a significant distance from Caboolture and likely interacted with the public on their journey,” stated Queensland Police Detective Inspector David Harbison.
He added, “I appeal to anyone in northern New South Wales or even southern Queensland who might have information about these men or this vehicle to contact the police. Any detail, no matter how small, can greatly assist our investigation.”
Authorities have advised the public not to approach the suspects but to call triple zero immediately if they are spotted.

In an emotional interview with 9News, Mason’s family described her as the “most amazing person.” Her sister Dani expressed, “She was someone you would want by your side in life. She didn’t deserve this, and no one does.”
Police have yet to determine the motive behind the attack or why Mason was with the two men at the time.
