A video circulating on social media depicted the young striker joyriding on a Ryker motorcycle through the streets of Medellin. However, neither he nor his passengers wore helmets, which constitutes a direct violation of Colombia’s road safety laws.
He captioned his post with a reflective message: “Always do it with your loved ones, that’s what remains, and don’t try to please everyone, that’s not good.” However, this did little to mitigate the backlash from fans, who deemed the incident reckless.
