Hello, sports enthusiasts!

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his fiancée Hailee Steinfeld recently graced the red carpet at the NFL Honors awards show in New Orleans, Louisiana, ahead of this weekend’s Super Bowl. Just as Allen and Steinfeld blend the excitement of the NFL with the allure of cinema, today’s edition of The Cinematrix from Vulture does the same.

Check out the special edition of the Cinematrix game created by our friends at Vulture, designed just in time for the Super Bowl.

Today’s grid features two categories related to the NFL and the Super Bowl:

  • Title Contains an NFL Team Name
  • $LIX Million+ Worldwide Box Office

The first category allows for either the singular or plural form of any NFL team mascot name, such as “Eagles” or “Chiefs,” representing the two teams competing in the Super Bowl, or any other NFL squad.

The second category cleverly incorporates Roman numerals and requires that the movies listed have grossed $59 million or more at the worldwide box office.

Here’s the grid for today’s game, but make sure to click over to Vulture to participate!

Playing is straightforward. Here are the rules:

  • For each square, choose a movie that fits both intersecting clues from the x-axis and y-axis. If a movie poster appears, congratulations, you’ve filled that square correctly!
  • You have nine guesses to fill the entire grid. A movie cannot be selected more than once.
  • If you’re uncertain about a specific clue, click on it to view a headshot of the person or to read a more detailed explanation.
  • When you guess a movie correctly, a percentage will display in that square, indicating the number of players who guessed the same movie.
  • At the end of your game, you’ll receive a Rarity Score. Opting for more obscure movies will result in a more impressive score.

Once you’re finished on Vulture, return here and share your grid and rarity scores in the comments below. There’s a “Copy Your Results” button available after you submit.

A new puzzle is available every day, so don’t forget to add it to your daily game rotation!
