Reddit is currently facing international outages, according to NetBlocks, a global internet monitoring organization. In a post Thursday evening, they clarified that these issues are not related to country-specific internet disruptions or filtering. There has been a significant increase in reports on Downdetector, with over 47,000 reports indicating problems with the site at the time of writing. Users have been sharing their experiences on X, Threads, and Bluesky, confirming that Reddit appears to be down for many.
However, I personally have not encountered any issues while using Reddit. My browsing experience has been smooth, whether I accessed the platform through my logged-in account using Old Reddit, an incognito window, or on my mobile browser via my iPhone.
According to Reddit’s status page, all systems are currently operational, leaving the extent of these outages unclear. Reddit has not yet responded to a request for comments regarding the situation.
