Sean Dyche has been dismissed from his position as Everton manager after nearly two years at the helm.
The 53-year-old becomes the sixth Premier League manager to leave their role this season.

Dyche exits Goodison Park with the Toffees positioned 16th in the Premier League table, just one point above the relegation zone.
This decision follows closely after the Friedkin Group’s takeover of the club, which occurred just over two weeks ago.
During his time as manager, Everton achieved 26 wins in 83 matches across all competitions, with Dyche successfully guiding the team to safety in the previous two seasons.
However, the club struggled under his management, recording only one win in his last 11 matches as goals became increasingly scarce for the Toffees.
In those matches, Everton managed to score just five goals since the start of November, with four of those coming in a match against Wolves last month.
Dyche departs just hours before Everton’s FA Cup third-round tie.
Everton is set to host League One side Peterborough on Thursday night, competing for a place in the fourth round.
Live commentary of this cup clash will be available on talkSPORT, with kick-off scheduled for 7:45 PM.
In a surprising twist, Everton defender Seamus Coleman has been appointed to take charge of the team for this match, alongside former Toffees player Leighton Baines.
The duo boasts a combined total of 846 appearances for Everton.
Premier League Managers Sacked This Season

Erik ten Hag – Manchester United
Steve Cooper – Leicester
Gary O’Neil – Wolves
Russell Martin – Southampton
Julen Lopetegui – West Ham
Sean Dyche – Everton
Current captain Coleman was not expected to feature against Peterborough due to a muscle injury.
The 36-year-old has appeared in only four matches this season due to ongoing injury struggles.
Meanwhile, Baines remains at Everton after retiring in 2020 and currently oversees the club’s under-18 side.
Everton has confirmed that several members of Dyche’s coaching staff have also parted ways with the club.
Ian Woan, Steve Stone, Mark Howard, and Billy Mercer have all left Goodison Park following Dyche’s exit.
In an official statement, the club confirmed: “Everton Football Club can confirm that Sean Dyche has been relieved of his duties as Senior Men’s First Team Manager, effective immediately.
“Ian Woan, Steve Stone, Mark Howard, and Billy Mercer have also left the Club.
“The process to appoint a new manager is underway, and an update will be provided in due course.
“Under-18s Head Coach Leighton Baines and Club Captain Seamus Coleman will take charge of first-team affairs on an interim basis.”
The Toffees will return to Premier League action with a home match against Aston Villa on Wednesday night.
As for Dyche’s successor, Jose Mourinho has been ruled out of taking the reins at Everton.
talkSPORT understands that Mourinho’s controversial departure from Roma, also owned by the Friedkin Group, means he will not be joining Everton.

The three-time Premier League winner is currently managing Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
Former manager David Moyes has expressed interest in a potential return, while Paulo Fonseca is also keen on the role.
Everton has shown interest in Gareth Southgate, but the ex-England boss has indicated he does not wish to return to management mid-season.
