Sherri Shepherd will continue to charm audiences as the host of her popular daytime talk show for another season.
The hit show “Sherri” has been officially renewed for a fourth season by Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury, set to air during the 2025-26 TV season. This syndicated program will reach over 95% of the U.S. audience, featuring broadcast groups such as Fox television stations, Nexstar, Hearst, Sinclair, Gray, Tegna, and Sunbeam.
This past February, “Sherri” achieved remarkable success, ranking as the No. 2 highest-rated syndicated talk show in the critical daytime demographic of women aged 25-54, according to Nielsen’s metered markets. The show experienced a 33% increase in ratings since November 2024. Additionally, it secured the position of the No. 3 most-watched national talk show in February, marking a 17% rise compared to November, and even reached a season-high rating during the week of February 17.
In a statement, Shepherd expressed her gratitude, saying, “I don’t take it for granted that people welcome me into their homes daily. I work hard to bring escapism to viewers’ lives through joy, laughter, and inspiration, and I’m grateful that the audience has embraced what we do. I look forward to raising the bar and turning up the volume as we plan for our season four return.”
Distributed by Debmar-Mercury, “Sherri” is currently cleared in 98% of the U.S. The daytime talk show is filmed at Chelsea Studios in New York City, in front of an enthusiastic live audience.
Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus stated, “’Sherri’ will continue to provide stations with the quality original first-run daily programming they need to succeed in daytime. Over the past three seasons, the show has proven its value to stations and advertisers, with Sherri Shepherd as the only single-host comedian on daytime TV capable of delivering a much-needed daily dose of laughs. We thank our great broadcast partners for continuing to make ‘Sherri’ a foundational element of their lineups.”
Frank Cicha, EVP of Programming at Fox Television Stations, commented, “’The Sherri Shepherd Show’ remains a lynchpin of our daytime lineup. We’re very happy to be bringing it back.”
