NFL: AFC Wild Card Round-Los Angeles Chargers at Houston Texans

It’s Scorigami! The Los Angeles Chargers and Houston Texans combined for a truly unique NFL score in the Wild Card round.

The Houston Texans and Los Angeles Chargers faced off in a thrilling game on Saturday afternoon, ending with a score of 32-12, marking the first time an NFL game has concluded this way. This remarkable outcome is known as an NFL Scorigami!

Typically, Scorigamis occur due to unusual events in an NFL game, such as teams opting for two-point conversions or missing extra points. In this particular matchup, there was a blocked extra point that was returned for a defensive two-point conversion, setting a historic precedent as the first in NFL playoff history.

This score marks the 1091st unique score in NFL history and is the seventh Scorigami recorded this season.

In December, the Bills and Lions played a high-scoring game, finishing 48-42. Additionally, the Jets faced the Dolphins, resulting in a final score of 32-36. On November 17th, the Lions achieved a Scorigami victory over the Jaguars. Earlier in the season, on October 13th, the Lions notched another Scorigami, defeating the Dallas Cowboys 47-9. On September 15th, the New Orleans Saints triumphed over the Cowboys with a score of 44-19. The San Francisco 49ers kicked off the season with a 32-19 win against the New York Jets.
