President Bola Tinubu has appointed Mr. Felix Morka, who serves as the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the new Chairman of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Board.
Bayo Onanuga, the president’s spokesman, announced on Friday that the president has also approved the appointment of Hon. Fatuhu Buhari from Katsina State as the Director-General of the National Agricultural Seed Council, marking significant developments in governance.
Further appointments by the President include Malam Muhammad Massan, the APC State Chairman, who will now serve as the Chairman of the Bauchi State Board of the Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute, Ilorin. Additionally, Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas, the APC State Chairman from Kano State, has been appointed as the Board Chairman of the Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service.
Other notable appointments include Dr. Austian Agada, APC State Chairman from Benue State, who has been designated as Board Chairman of the National Agricultural Seed Council, and Hon. Macdonald Ebere, APC State Chairman from Imo State, who will lead the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology in Lagos.
Moreover, Mr. Ubong Ntukekpo, the APC State Chairman from Akwa Ibom, is now the Board Chairman of the National Institute for Freshwater Fish, located in New Bussa. Chief Emma Eneukwu, who serves as the Deputy Chairman (South) of the APC, has been appointed Board Chairman of the National Automotive Development Council.
Mr. Aminu Bobi, the APC State Chairman from Niger, is appointed as the Board Chairman of the National Library of Nigeria. Meanwhile, Pharm. Abass Olayide, APC State Chairman from Oyo State, has taken on the role of Board Chairman at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Kaduna.
In related news, Tinubu has appointed Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka, APC State Chairman from Yobe, as the Board Chairman of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre, and Mr. Benjamin Omale, APC State Chairman from Benue State, as Board Chairman of the National Orthopedic Hospital, Enugu.
Additionally, Mr. Rufus Bature, APC State Chairman from Plateau, will assume the role of Board Chairman of the Nigerian Coal Corporation, while Alhaji Abubakar Kana, APC State Chairman from Kebbi State, has been appointed as Board Chairman of the Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies.
Hon. Donatus Nwankpa, an APC National Working Committee Member from Abia, has been appointed the Board Chairman of the Project Development Institute. Mr. Mustapha Salihu, the APC State Chairman from Adamawa, is now the Board Chairman of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons.
Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu, the APC State Chairman from Abia, takes on the role of Board Chairman at the National Parks Headquarters, while Alhaji Abdulmalik Usman, the APC State Chairman for the Federal Capital Territory, is appointed Board Chairman of the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria, Ibadan.
Hon. Ibrahim El-Sudi, APC State Chairman from Taraba State, has also been appointed as the Board Chairman of the Environmental Health Registration Council of Nigeria. Mr. Sola Elesin, APC State Chairman from Ekiti State, is now the Board Chairman of the Nigerian Institute of Mining and Geosciences.
Lastly, Emperor Jarrett Tenebe, APC State Chairman from Edo, has been appointed as the Board Chairman of the Federal College of Agriculture in Akure, and Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani, APC State Chairman from Zamfara, will serve as the Board Chairman of the Federal Medical Centre in Azare.
Other appointments include Hon. Aminu Sani Gumel, APC State Chairman from Jigawa, as Board Chairman of the Federal College of Produce Inspection and Stored Products Technology in Kano, and Barr. Idris Shuaibu, APC State Chairman from Adamawa, now taking the role of Board Chairman at the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology in Ibadan.
