Tottenham Hotspur has finalized a transfer agreement to sign goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky from Slavia Prague for a fee of £12.5 million.
Manager Ange Postecoglou is currently facing a squad crisis that has severely limited his options in goal.

First-choice goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is sidelined due to a long-term ankle injury, while backup Fraser Forster is currently ill ahead of the Premier League match against Newcastle on Saturday.
As reported by talkSPORT, this situation will lead to 25-year-old Brandon Austin making his senior debut for Spurs during the lunchtime clash, nearly nine years after he joined the club in 2015.
To swiftly address this pressing issue, Tottenham has secured Czech Republic youth international Kinsky during the January transfer window.
The 21-year-old is scheduled to fly to England for a medical examination on Saturday evening.
Kinsky has been impressive in the Czech top-flight this season, achieving 12 clean sheets in 19 appearances and playing a key role in helping Slavia Prague lead the league.
He unexpectedly gained first-team experience after goalkeeper Jindrich Stanek suffered a serious injury prior to the 2024/25 season.
Concerns have arisen regarding Forster’s performance during Vicario’s absence, as Tottenham has conceded 15 goals in their last seven matches.
Discussing the need for reinforcements this January, Postecoglou stated on Friday: “It’s not just about pushing, but the club is actively working to provide assistance to the squad. It’s no secret that we need to enhance our numbers a bit. January is a challenging month.
“We acknowledge that it’s difficult to bring in players quickly. However, we want to ensure that we make the best decisions for our needs rather than hastily signing players who may not fit well with our system.
“They aren’t celebrating New Year; they are out there working to improve our situation and will continue to do so.”

Currently, Tottenham is missing eight first-team players due to injuries, suspensions, and a sickness bug affecting the squad.
Beyond their goalkeepers, Tottenham has also been significantly impacted in defense, with key players Destiny Udogie, Micky van de Ven, and Cristian Romero all unavailable.
Postecoglou’s squad has struggled during this crisis, winning only one of their last seven league matches and dropping to 11th in the Premier League standings.
When asked if this situation has led him to feel frustrated, Postecoglou joked: “I’d be no good bald; my wife would definitely leave me!”
“I’ve never been the type to think ‘woe is me’ or ‘can anything else go wrong’. It’s a significant challenge.
“I keep reminding the players that this will only make the story more compelling and interesting in the end, regardless of where we finish.”

According to talkSPORT, Tottenham is also considering a January transfer move for AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori.
Newcastle, West Ham, and Brentford are also interested in the former Chelsea center-back, following his recent difficulties in Italy.
