Tottenham’s stance on Ange Postecoglou remains unchanged, as reported by talkSPORT.
The club’s board continues to support the beleaguered Australian despite a 2-1 defeat to Leicester City on Sunday.

However, if Tottenham decides to change their course, assistant coach Ryan Mason is a strong candidate to step up as interim manager.
This potential shift would mark Mason’s third tenure as Tottenham’s caretaker manager.
The 33-year-old first took charge following Jose Mourinho’s sacking in April 2021.
Mason faced significant challenges, leading Tottenham in the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City in just his second match.
Unfortunately, the Tottenham academy product could not end the club’s trophy drought as City won 1-0.
Mason concluded his first stint with a record of four wins and three losses.
He returned to manage again after Cristian Stellini departed following Antonio Conte’s dismissal in March 2023.
During that period, Mason’s record was less favorable, winning twice, drawing once, and losing three matches.
The 33-year-old was also linked with his first full-time managerial position earlier this season at Anderlecht.
However, both parties decided against proceeding with the appointment.

Calls for Mason’s return come as Tottenham suffers their 13th league loss this season, leaving the north London team in 15th place, just one point and one position above Everton.
What made this loss even more embarrassing was that Leicester had been winless in their last eight league matches and had lost seven consecutively.
Goals from Jamie Vardy and Bilal El Khannouss followed Richarlison’s opening goal for the hosts, giving Leicester a much-needed boost to end their poor run.
Tottenham’s recent stats are concerning.
Since December, only Southampton has lost more matches (nine) than Postecoglou’s squad (eight).
However, a mitigating factor in Tottenham’s struggles is the team’s injury crisis.

Key players Guglielmo Vicario, Cristian Romero, and Micky van de Ven are sidelined with injuries, while midfielder James Maddison missed Sunday’s match.
Despite the mounting injuries, Tottenham managed a midweek victory in the Europa League against Hoffenheim, which temporarily eased fan discontent.
However, Tottenham supporters expressed their frustration following the Leicester defeat, with one fan particularly vocal as they shouted at Postecoglou: “You’re taking us down, we’re going down with you.”
Former Tottenham player Jamie O’Hara also expressed his discontent regarding the team’s situation, believing the club is hesitant to change managers out of fear.
“You can’t stick with a manager when you have relegation form, just because of the uncertainty of who will come in,” O’Hara stated on talkSPORT Breakfast.
“It’s the chairman’s responsibility to find a new manager.”

“There are many excellent young managers out there, and plenty of coaches across Europe who would welcome the chance to manage Spurs.
“It seems we are holding onto Ange Postecoglou out of fear of making a change.”
Postecoglou acknowledges the pressure he is under, stating, “I’m a football manager and I am judged on results; that is the reality.”
Tottenham will face their fans on Thursday as they host Swedish side IF Elfsborg for a Europa League encounter.
Another defeat could be the tipping point for Postecoglou.
