Urgent product recall has been issued for salt, pepper, and spice grinders available at IGA supermarkets across various states.
Rex Imports Australia has identified some Cape Herb & Spice products as potentially hazardous due to the presence of plastic, which poses a risk of injury if ingested.
The recalled items include Atlantic Sea Salt, Himalayan Pink Salt, Chilli & Garlic, BBQ, Pepper, and Salt & Pepper grinders.

These grinders have been sold at independent grocery stores, including IGA, in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, and Western Australia.
Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) has issued a warning stating that “consumers should not consume this product”.
