Christian Pulisic Set to Extend Contract with AC Milan

Following a string of impressive performances, USMNT star Christian Pulisic is reportedly poised to extend and enhance his contract with AC Milan.

After an inconsistent period at Chelsea, Christian Pulisic has regained his best form at AC Milan, establishing himself as a key player for one of Europe’s most historic clubs. He is enjoying one of his most productive seasons yet, and as a result, the USMNT star is expected to be rewarded with a new lucrative contract.

Pulisic had a breakout debut season with Milan in 2023-24, quickly becoming one of the team’s standout performers alongside established stars like Theo Hernandez, Rafael Leao, and Mike Maignan. In less than two years, the winger has regained the form that once made him a standout at Borussia Dortmund, and he now seems set for a longer stay in Italy.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Christian Pulisic is anticipated to sign a new contract with AC Milan that will run until 2028, with an option to extend through 2029. His current deal is set to expire in June 2027, prompting Milan to secure his services for the long term.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the new contract will rank Pulisic among Milan’s highest earners — a testament to his consistent performances on the pitch and professionalism off it.

Despite Milan’s disappointing campaign — which included an early UEFA Champions League exit and a current 7th-place standing in Serie A — Pulisic has been a rare bright spot. His impact is evident, with Milan noticeably missing his presence whenever he’s sidelined.

Pulisic Reinforces His Commitment with Milan

The 25-year-old has contributed 15 goals and 9 assists in 38 appearances this season, putting him on track to surpass his best-ever individual season. Following Milan’s 2-1 victory over Como, where Pulisic scored, he emphasized his desire to remain at the club. When asked if Milan could be the club of his life, Pulisic replied:

“Milan and my teammates give me confidence. It’s a pleasure to play here, and I want to score more goals and provide more assists. This club gives me a lot of confidence, and it’s a pleasure to be here every day. I want to continue here,” he told DAZN.

Pulisic also acknowledged Milan’s struggles but expressed optimism in the squad’s potential to turn things around. “I think there’s a lot of talent in this team, but we need to find the right balance between when to attack and when to defend. We must keep this positive streak going, and we shouldn’t — and don’t want to — give in to negativity,” he stated.
